PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Opioid Spoon Project is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to raising awareness about the opioid crisis. They needed a redesigned website that could tell their story more powerfully, connect with audiences emotionally, and make it easier for supporters to contribute.
The Journey
Challenge
The previous WordPress site was difficult to update and failed to capture the organisation’s mission. It also lacked a clear donation pathway, making it harder to convert visitors into supporters.
Approach
My approach was to migrate the site to Squarespace and redesign it with a focus on storytelling and impact. I created a compassionate, visually striking layout that highlighted the nonprofit’s work, paired with simplified navigation and an optimised donation flow. The design was centred on evoking empathy while reinforcing the organisation’s credibility and professionalism.
